The Director of Animal Care Services from University of Florida, Dr. Battles, went to TI asking for a solution to track his thousands of laboratory rodents in their Cancer Genetics Research Center. Texas Instruments referred Dr. Battles to Dynasys.

Dynasys developed a complete RFID enabled system using UHF EPC Generation 2 technology that is capable of tracking hundreds of cages each minute. The system was successfully installed and has been up and running on a daily basis for the past year.

The University realized immediate ROI by reducing their census and billing errors from 60% to 99% accuracy. Additional ROI was realized due to labor cost savings.
