Omnitrol Networks appoints Ed Wodarski to lead Aerospace and Defense initiatives

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA. (March 26, 2008) -- Omnitrol Networks today strengthened its senior management team, appointing Ed Wodarski as senior director of business development to spearhead its activities in the Aerospace and Defense sectors.

A seasoned executive, Mr. Wodarski will lead Omnitrol Networks' sales and partner initiatives to increase the adoption of Omnitrol's contactless EPC-based traceability and tracking solutions in the Aerospace and Defense industries.

Mr. Wodarski brings over 27 years of experience in supply chain solutions, focusing on service and maintenance applications for the high tech and aviation industries. Most recently, he led Strategic Alliances at Blue Vector Systems where he built out the relationship with Motorola. As a Senior Executive in the Accenture Supply Chain practice, Mr. Wodarski worked to redesign projects for the USAF, the Defense Logistics Administration and the US Postal Service. During his tenure at Xelus, Mr. Wodarski pioneered the development of the market currently known as "service parts planning", and is considered a visionary in the synchronization of service delivery and the supporting supply chain. At Xelus, he held a number of positions including VP Strategy and GM Aviation where he worked with Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Delta Airlines, British Airways, and Air France amongst others. Mr. Wodarski has a BA in Applied Statistics from St. Bonaventure and an MBA in Operations Management and Finance from the University of Rochester.
